Duties and Responsibilities
This role will provide complete ownership of between 500 to 1000 paying agent appointments including payment of debt service, invoicing and collecting of fee payments
• Interacts with small to large municipal issuers, including cities and school districts
• Provides reconciliation of omnibus paying agent and cost of issuance accounts
• Disseminates financial information to the EMMA system (as required)
• Responsible for accurate/timely setup of issues on all systems, preparing accounts for compliance review and responding appropriately to compliance exceptions
• Resolve complex administrative issues and provide support to existing client staff
• Provide occasional support to mid-tier and/or senior clients
• Operate independently to service the clients and resolve intermediate issues
• Provides day to day support to existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing for administrative fees, recommending fee increases, facilitating bond closing, handling cash and investment transactions, monitoring cash activities, providing debt service calculations, executing payment generation and follow-up
• Recommend and submit new business for approval from the new business committee made up of the senior leadership team in Corporate Trust
• Price business based on account structure compared to existing business.
• Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate
• Work with corporate legal, compliance and outside legal counsel to negotiate document provisions
• Participate in cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles and provide support, as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years relevant experience
Preferred Requirements
• Master's Degree
• CCTS - Certified Corporate Trust Specialist

• Demonstrates strong client relationship management skills
• Demonstrates successful networking skills and the ability to establish a network of strategic contacts
• Demonstrates ability to provide positive client experience through a variety of methods including associate engagement, technology, workflows and processing
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
• Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrates general knowledge of banking products and services
• Demonstrates the ability to be self directed
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
