Description
As a User Experience Designer IV with Frost, you will be responsible for designing user-centric, cutting-edge, innovative software application interfaces for customer use. Responsibilities will include overseeing the design strategy of the User Experience area while leading design work on major project and providing direction to other designers; partnering with the User Experience Manager and technology and product teams on key initiatives; planning and executing research projects, including usability studies, customer interviews, focus groups, surveys, and competitive benchmarking; using insights to inform design decisions; producing sketches, wire frames, sitemaps, user flows, and clickable prototypes; working with user research teams to plan usability testing sessions and deliver artifacts for testing; collaborating with visual designers, product owners, marketing, and other departments to define product experience and ensure smooth workflow; and contributing to the design practice of Digital Services through best practice development and sharing of knowledge. The candidate will lead the design and development of smart phone, tablet, and online applications that enhance the Frost user experience.
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Information Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in interaction design or digital services strategy
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience with Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, or other prototyping software
• Experience with mobile and desktop design work, including Apple and Android products
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in a related field
• Knowledge of Banking and Finance
• Expert-level skill in modern research methods, including usability testing, phone interviews, and focus groups
• Expert-level skill in context/ethnographical study, remote study, card sorting, eye tracking, intercept surveys, and A/B testing
