Under direct supervision of the HRSS Sr Director, this role supports day to day deliverables and project initiatives by performing operational and administrative functions associated with HR event maintenance impacting employees and financial advisors from an HR and Payroll life cycle lens. The role is highly service centric and responds to general inquiries regarding HR matters, general Payroll practices and policies as partner with the HR team and with our HRSS outsourced third-party business partners; sometimes working independently to meet area change / special event objectives. The role further supports the external HR Service Center and addresses payroll related issues around escalated requests spanning across many fronts. This includes, assisting in the distribution/mailing and receiving/tracking of payroll and tax related correspondence and maintenance of historical employee files. Responsible for the daily running, printing, distribution and tracking of off-cycle checks. Ensuring prompt and effective responses to the internal time management system mailbox and identifying areas for improvement as we enhance employee and manager self-service usage. Assists in the preparation of time management system training material as well as payroll-related forms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Incumbent must be able to work harmoniously and professionally in a team environment and maintain discretion in dealing with confidential information. Strong problem-solving skills, work ethic and ability to research and gather data. General knowledge of HR principles and practices; payroll and taxes a plus. Ability to handle multiple processes and prioritize workload (highly organized and detail oriented). Candidate should have experience in Customer Service and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to work across multiple HR areas and maintain relationships with partners. Working knowledge of the MS Office suite of applications (especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with Access. Bachelor's degree with 1 - 3 years of experience.
