Senior Data Scientist – Keying and Linking

The Search-Match and Data-Linking Senior Data Scientist will champion data-linking and entity-resolution efforts within Equifax Workforce Solutions and serve as the “Business Owner” for keying and linking. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining alignment with the Enterprise Keying and Linking Technology and Analytics functions. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for assessing and deploying the optimal mix of deterministic, probabilistic and hybrid algorithms leveraging large and disparate sets of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to address our business needs. As a Senior Data Scientist you will engage with relevant business partners across the enterprise to develop and execute analytical solutions against a comprehensive search-match and data-linking roadmap for Equifax Workforce Solutions.
Key Deliverables:
• Develop and execute the Equifax Workforce Solutions (EWS) search-match & entity resolution roadmap
• Assess current and potential capabilities, technologies, and methodologies and make recommendations regarding trade-offs
• Assume ownership of successful data-linking and entity-resolution implementations within EWS
• Identify and deploy the appropriate analytical techniques and requirements to resolve entities and create relationships among a vast array of data assets
• Partner with Enterprise Keying and Linking teams to design and develop search-match solutions that address the EWS operational needs (proof of concept development, business case development, feasibility analysis)
• Effectively work with IT, product managers, sales consultants and technology teams to drive solution performance and adoption
• Conduct ROI and benefit analysis
• Serve as a thought leader within both Workforce Solutions and the broader enterprise data and analytics organizations
Who You Are (Requirements):
• Advanced degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Applied Math, Bioinformatics or other quantitative fields
• At least 5-7 years of working experience in cutting edge analytics, data mining, and predictive modeling
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects from inception to delivery
• Proven ability to work independently on the development of complex models with complex data structures
• Exceptional story teller with ability to translate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
• Outstanding people skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Proven track record in modifying and applying advanced algorithms to address practical problems
• Expert in more than one of Python, R, SQL, Java, C++, or C
• Robust knowledge and experience with statistical methods and hypothesis testing
• Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL related technologies
• Expertize with transforming large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data into actionable insights
• Experience with keying and linking, search and merging under uncertainty across multiple sources
• Experience with elastic search is a plus
