Role Value Proposition:
This exciting and challenging role is a senior administrator with PeopleSoft focus in our application and platform operations team. The role works in a very large 24/7 global enterprise with a user base of 50,000+. Will be responsible for design, development, installation, customization, optimization, upgrade and support of distributed HR & financial management applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing research into emerging technology to anticipate and plan for opportunities to take advantage of new and enhanced features and integrations.
• Identify risks and exposures and determines the solutions to rectify and prevent future occurrences.
• Handle the day-to-day administration of HR & financial applications both on-premise and in cloud- which will include troubleshooting production issues, participating in application development deployments, build automation and integration between platforms, assisting in development lifecycle, space allocation and management, optimization, backup, recovery, monitoring & tuning, capacity planning, standards identification & compliance, and ensuring a high-level of reliability and availability.
• Provide a 24x7 on-call escalation path for problems; guide junior associates and off-shore 24x7 team.
• Cross train on other complementary application and information hosting platforms.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• A broad general knowledge of systems, operations, security, network and storage management processes and their interdependencies and implementations
• 3+ years of experience with administering and supporting PeopleSoft platform and applications.
• 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM modules - payroll, HR, Ben Admin , Benefits, Time and Labor, version 9 and above.
• 3 years’ experience in SQR, People Tools & Queries
• 3+ years of experience with SunGL, OBIEE, or Hyperion
• Exposure to cloud hosted environments
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or 10 years equivalent work experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a technical and non-technical audience.
• Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and built rapport in order to influence colleagues at all levels, uncover business issues, and identify needs
