Position Purpose:
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will report directly to the Head of Energy at INTL FCStone. The role will involve serving as a liaison between the Energy team and Marketing, as well as between both the Energy team and Marketing and our PR agency, with other external service providers, and with Energy trade publications. The role also will involve developing project timelines, and overseeing adherence to production schedules and deliverables. In addition, the role will involve developing short-form copy and marketing plans.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Directs and coordinates activities for marketing and business development.
• Confers with management to develop strategy, create annual budgets, establish investment priorities, measure achievements and adjust strategies and priorities as needed.
• Ensures corporate brand consistency and promotes brand.
• Communicates with customers, business unit leaders, corporate staff and partners to ensure that the corporation is meeting customer expectations.
• Plans and conducts market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
• Provides post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
• Identifies, establishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategies. Strengthens current business ties, coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals.
• Keeps abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate. Conducts client surveys to determine promising areas of development.

Job Requirements:
• The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience in various forms of marketing and marketing communications, including as many of the following as possible:
◦ o Social media, including Twitter and LinkedIn
◦ o Google Analytics
◦ o Copywriting
◦ o Public Relations
◦ o Events planning
◦ o Print and online advertising
◦ o Online and print collateral
• Experience in the Energy sector is not required, but a background in financial services marketing would be valuable
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Strong organizational capabilities
• Ability to manage projects with multiple contributors and multiple moving parts
• Analytical with attention to detail
• Customer focused, quality driven, with ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Physical requirements/Working conditions:
• Climate controlled office environment
• Minimal physical requirement other than occasional light lifting of boxed materials
• Dynamic, time-sensitive environment
