This position serves as a liaison delegate between the Relationship Management Team and the client. Will proactively support the Relationship Management Team in all new client acquisition activities, resolving complex issues and managing the credit approval process. Services and enhances the existing customer experience by using independent judgment in meeting the various needs of the client. Activates, consults with and follows up with the onboarding of all new clients. Monitors the portfolio of clients for past dues, changes to the client risk profile and advises Relationship Management Team. This position is responsible for gathering financial information and, with the Relationship Management Team, formulates a strategy to gain credit approval.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Initiates contact with and follows up with the client to obtain and provide information
• Manages the credit approval process and works closely with the credit team to provide information and to assist the Relationship Management Team in preparing credit offering memoranda
• Ensures customer receives timely responses
• Implements, together with product partner involvement, cross-sell activities and/or servicing for existing and new clients
• Renders all aspects of pipeline management, internal sales reporting and compliance reporting
• Creates the the implementation, activation and follow up with new and existing clients as well as any related documentation and administrative requirements
• Consults with customers in all aspects of servicing the portfolio; takes appropriate action to manage/retain the portfolio
• Utilizes independent judgment
• Formulates with the Relationship Management Team, a strategy for managing renewals and new deals through the credit process
• Proactively develops with the Relationship Management Team the prospecting of new clients and COIs; searches out opportunities to cross sell clients within the portfolio and works with the Relationship Management Team to prepare for the client call

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong, hands-on credit skills/experience
• 4+ years professional experience
• Client relationship management experience from a financial institution
• Very strong MS office skills; CRM skills a plus
• Ability to multi task and implement and interpret policies
• Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple inquiries and use independent judgement
• Able to work in a team environment and consult with clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
