Summary:
The HR Systems Analyst provides support and maintenance of the Human Capital Management system and other division systems. Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas. Serves as the technology resource on HR COE projects and as a team member on projects related to implementation and enhancement of HR systems. Develops solutions to resolve system integration problems. Defines and manages security roles and access for all HR systems.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
• Basic knowledge and understanding of project management concepts and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in solving problems of a technical nature.
• Demonstrated experience using service delivery technologies and tools across multiple disciplines of human resources.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of how technology can be used to automate business processes.

Job Description:
Primary Accountabilities
Systems Support (35%)
• Supports existing HR systems; identifies user needs and shares expertise with system users.
• Researches and evaluates HR technology alternatives. Analyzes the impact of change or implementation of additional systems on current network of HR systems.
• Researches untapped capabilities residing in existing systems and promotes its availability to applicable HR business units. Attends vendor user conferences to keep current on products.
• Develops solutions for cross-platform system releases and upgrades. Works with appropriate parties for successful implementation.
• Works with vendors on new software releases and enhancements to the product to provide ease of operations as it relates to our processes and procedures.
• Provides second level support to the I/S Help Desk for end user system problems that cannot be resolved by I/S.
Problem Diagnosis / Troubleshooting (35%)
• Develops solutions for cross-platform problem resolution.
• Diagnoses, researches, and resolves complex multi-system problems.
• Conducts day to day research and resolution of system problems or data issues. Determines whether situation can be addressed within HR or promoted to I/S.
• Facilitates issue/enhancement coordination between HR business units, I/S, and 3rd party vendors.
• Identifies, documents, and tracks the resolution of vendor problems and issues.
Systems Configuration (20%)
• Consults with HR management as HR systems evolve to ensure alignment with long-term divisional goals.
• Identifies business opportunities for configuration based on the changing needs and priorities of the division, the technology solution, and its users.
• Assists in identifying business rules or processes impacted by new projects or efforts. Provides subject matter expertise to stakeholders regarding each.
User Acceptance Testing/Quality (10%)
• Develops testing strategies to verify system changes. Manages user acceptance testing and post production verification. Communicates associated expectations and guidelines.
• Tracks test results of all issues and enhancements using the incident tracking application. Collaborates with HR business units, I/S and 3rd party vendors regarding each incident.
• Manages HR data and application security roles and permissions. Defines procedures and guides the implementation and maintenance of system security.
