Responsibilities:
The Head of Product & Solutions Management is responsible for the profitable growth and strategic product evolution in North America for Asset Managers. Building on BNP Paribas’ recent market entry into the US Mutual Fund servicing business, this role is charged with the overall development of our North American Fund Services franchise. The candidate will be responsible for the strategic packaging and deployment of the full suite of buy-side products and solutions for Asset Managers including services from global and local custody, middle and back office outsourcing, securities financing, FX and others. The role works very closely with teams from client development, client delivery and marketing to manage our market positioning, contribute heavily to sales efforts, and to further develop our relationships with both domestic and global asset managers seeking our solutions across the globe. The candidate will also be responsible for pricing, market strategy, and product P&L.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Expert understanding of services provided to US ’40 Act Funds
• Ability to discern industry trends and communicate those trends to key stakeholders
• Formulate products and solutions as required based on industry and regulatory evolution
• Excellent client facing and communication skills
• Ability to work within a global team as a key representative for the region
• 20+ years of industry experience, at least 10 of which are directly related to products and solutions offered to US mutual fund services
• 5+ years in product management and client development
• Experience managing P&L at the product or business unit level
• Ability to work within a team and exert expertise and influence as required
• MBA in Finance, Economics or related field required
• Extensive experience among regional and global industry groups including demonstrated thought leadership activities
• Ability to travel (20-30%)
Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience directly related to products and solutions offered to US mutual fund services
• 7+ years in product management and client development
