The Retirement Services (RS) Division at OneAmerica serves medium to large employers and their employees through trusted advisors. By providing retirement plans, we help provide employers with valuable employee benefits and create a more secure retirement for their employees, helping them prepare to have their best day for the rest of their lives!
The RS Marketing Communications team assists our business by supporting our plan advisors, sponsors and participants through education, communication and branding. The Audience team within RS Marketing Communications leads our efforts in creating communications strategies and increasing participant engagement for our plan advisors and sponsors by coordinating the development of marketing communications materials through creative design and writing services to effectively represent products and services to customers and prospects.
The Marketing Communications Consultant provides support to the Retirement Services division as it strives to meet its sales and service goals. This includes: writing, editing and producing high-quality promotional/marketing materials for stakeholders (i.e., Products, Sales and Service). This person will work collaboratively to develop marketing strategy to meet the identified goals, while partnering with outside vendors and internal business teams to develop, implement and measure initiatives and programs. The consultant will be accountable for development of marketing material initiatives, day-to-day digital marketing and material support while working with deadlines. The Marketing Communications Consultant will participate in developing strategic marketing plans for assigned projects and will also be accountable for on-time/on-budget delivery of assigned projects. Managing the set-up of stakeholder seminars and webinars, email and direct mail campaigns, and other communication-focused projects will also be part of this job.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or other related discipline is required.
• Mminimum of five years experience in production/preparation of marketing and communication materials is necessary.
• Working knowledge of Retirement or Financial Services products/services is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop and Excel software
• This position requires attention to detail, strong copywriting, project management and multitasking skills as well as solid oral communications expertise.
• The ideal candidate will have a dedicated client service approach to their work, be able to work well with cross-functional, multi-tasking teams and can demonstrate the ability to be strategic. forward-thinking and creative.
