Marketing Senior Analyst
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics and Campaign Management team. We are looking for a self-motivated professional with knowledge of and/or keen interest in analytics, marketing, SAS programming, marketing automation, and campaign management. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating and improving database marketing process as well as analyzing campaign results, and refining targeting algorithms. This position will involve frequent and direct interactions with marketing and sales partners and will require qualified candidate to be service-oriented, efficient and able to deliver results within tight timelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Execute recurring and adhoc direct marketing list pulls and campaign reports with an emphasis on compliance, process discipline, and efficiency.
• Derive value by analyzing customer data and campaign results, and identifying new marketing opportunities.
• Partner directly with internal customers on reviewing marketing results, developing list pulls and reports, gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
• Manage optimization of leads, offers, and propositions available to increase profitability and relevance to the customer.
• Review and model impact and cost benefit analysis of potential campaigns, opportunities and data and service providers.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Required qualifications:
• At least 5 years of practical financial services industry experience within marketing analytics/campaign management environment;
• Good knowledge of SAS including practical SAS programming experience;
• Good knowledge of industry practices for lending preapproval/prescreening, and invitation to apply campaigns along with close familiarity with Credit Bureau data and practices;
• Good working knowledge of SQL and Oracle (or similar) relational databases;
• Ability to deliver results under time constraints and meet aggressive timelines;
• Proficiency in initiating, establishing and maintaining relationships with the business community;
• Bachelors or higher degree with a concentration in analytics, statistics, computer science, or similar field.
• Proficiency in statistical and data analysis
• Demonstrable ability to quickly understand concepts and come out with original solutions to business problems
• Ability to leverage large datasets for pattern detection
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong problem solving skills and creativity
