Position Goals:
Review and modify documents to ensure delivery of high quality closing documents for various types of loan requests including moderately complex and simple specialty program requests that are compliant with credit approval, state and federal laws, regulations and FMB lending policies and procedures. Position requires analytical review of commercial loan documents using independent judgment to resolve issues. Provide quality customer service through accurate and efficient processing of commercial loans from approval through closing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Master of basic skills and developing skills to needed to determine the documents delivered are compliant with the credit approval, state and federal laws, regulations and FMB lending policies and procedures for requests ranging from simple to moderately complex including simple specialty loan skills.
1. Serve as an advisor to less experienced team members on simple to moderately complex commercial packages
2. Determine the closing documents meet requirements.
a. Authorized approval including conditions.
b. Validate proper amount of flood insurance is in place if appropriate.
c. Confirm authorized signers of entities.
d. Ensure lien position will be obtained.
e. Validate all requirements of specialty loan programs (SBA, FSA, FarmerMac, V-Doc, Letter of Credit, FMB Private Banking) have been met or will be met and documentation to support program requirements are in file or in closing packages.
f. All closing documents are delivered with appropriate information.
3. Work closely with Relationship Managers, Business Banking Officers, Commercial Administrators and Management to facilitate and resolve issues on new loan transactions, modifications and renewals.
4. Determine, review and/or modify documents and ensure loan requests are compliant with credit approval, state and federal laws, regulations and FMB lending policies and procedures.
5. Exercise independent judgment.
6. Provide timely and accurate customer service in a professional manner
7. Deliver high quality loan documents within the expected and agreed upon timeline.
8. Offer process/procedure improvement suggestions and raise illogical situations/findings to management.
9. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain clam while working in a fast-paced/deadline driven environment.
10. Research, analyze, and resolve commercial loan related issues.
11. Participate as a member of the team that meets periodically with FMB General Counsel to discuss legal and industry standards for commercial fulfillment and loan documents.
12. Assist with attorney prepared packages.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
Education - High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience - Over two (2) years of commercial loan process experience including highly complex commercial loans and specialty loans (SBA, FSA, FarmerMAC, V-Doc, Letter of Credit, FMB Private Banking).

Preferred Requirements:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field.
Experience with loan document origination systems, LaserPro preferred
