Assist with the review of approximately 30 states that renew company appointments (AXA, MLOA, AXA Life and Annuity) for AXA Equitable. This includes AXA Retail agents, RSS and AXA Partner company appointment renewals. Perform assigned states as requested from the Lead Associate. Primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the verification of important timelines and target dates with the renewing states through the state websites or calling state insurance departments directly, NIPR and Vertafore, evaluating the reports received from the state or vendors, sending timely notifications to each appropriate area (2 months prior to the renewal due date) for their review, response and follow-up and to process (terminate or renew) accordingly. This position is extremely important in handling approximately state renewals for thousands of representatives each year. Failure to renew in a timely manner will result in the termination of state insurance company appointments for thousands of representatives who would be unable to sell insurance products for AXA.
In addition, the primary purpose of this position is to ensure payment of all vendor invoices and state billing. Confirmation from the state department of insurance ensures that payment was received and that no company appointment terminations will be processed unknowingly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Expanded knowledge of SEC and FINRA. Expanded knowledge of state appointment renewal rules and regulations. Knowledge of current company/corporate billing and payment process through Ariba. Robust attention to detail. Ability to keep pristine records of appointment renewal, state billing and vendor billing payments for state review. The ability to continuously follow up with the multiple areas (accounts payable, RSS, AXA Partners and branches) as needed to ensure timely processing. Expanded knowledge of internal and external systems (LARS, ePAL, PS, WebCRD, Sircon, etc.). Ability to manage time and prioritize work within expected timelines and deadlines. Work proactively when state rules change. Strong verbal and written skills. Intermediate knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
