Consultant, Business Analysis
• The Core Systems Analysis team analyzes and evaluates new proposed projects that involve MasterCard’s core applications
• They are the first technologists to examine these business cases, and they begin the process of determining the technical solutions, feasibility and cost
• The individuals on this team work to master the technical details and business logic of at least one core application by researching historical documents in order to understand current behavior, capabilities, and features.
• The team works collaboratively with software architects and engineers to propose efficient and cost-effective solutions that satisfy the business requirements.

Role
• Research code, project documentation, user manuals, and other legacy artifacts to learn the current behavior, capabilities, and features of at least one core application
• Develop and cultivate a network of contacts within the company that can be quickly formed into teams to meet aggressive deadlines
• Lead cross-functional teams to produce the initial costing and timeline estimates for proposed projects
• Become adept at learning and utilizing existing processes and identifying process improvements
• Skilled at working multiple projects at a time, and adapting to the demands of each individual effort
All About You
• General experience working with large-scale software solutions, with special emphasis on banking and financial services applications
• Experience in software development life methodologies, both waterfall and agile
• Strong skills at producing concise written documentation
• Excellent verbal skills; effective communication with global workforce
