We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and professional employee communications and corporate communications generalist to join our dynamic and fast-paced Internal Communications team. The position reports to the Senior Director of Internal Communications and will have responsibility for managing key aspects of Nasdaq’s employee communications strategy and tactical execution. In addition, the candidate will need to be able to multitask and flex across the needs of the broader corporate communications group, collaborating with colleagues on additional communications tasks as needed.
• Under general supervision, develops and drafts content for internal audiences that consistently emphasizes and promotes Nasdaq’s vision, mission, corporate strategy and culture values.
◦ Writes and publishes content to educate, engage, recognize or inspire employees (emails, articles, intranet, etc.)
◦ Educates the organization on editorial policies, brand guidelines and core messaging.
◦ Ensures consistency of voice, tone, brand and style for employee communications across all channels (digital/online, live events, written, audio/video, graphics, social, digital, publications/print, etc.)
• Reviews and edits essential internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, appropriateness and compliance with corporate branding guidelines. Ensures a “corporate voice” permeates messaging to employees and stakeholders.
• Tracks metrics to evaluate effectiveness of communication plan delivery.
• Coordinates distribution of internal communication materials and manages the team’s editorial calendar.
• Under general supervision, drafts communications plans and timelines for assigned initiatives and projects.
• Provides functional advice and training to less-experienced corporate communication analysts.
• Participates in internal projects that are broad in scope and closely tied to the organizational strategy.
• Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Experience Required: At least 3 years
