Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, the Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.
Wealth Management Operations
Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Morgan Stanley has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
Capital Markets & Core Processing Services (CMCP) provides Operational support to the Capital Markets business within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. As part of their support model, CMCP has a dedicated Change the Bank team which is responsible for management of large scale programs and initiatives across Clearing, Settlements, and Asset Servicing .The team collaborates with stakeholders in Operations, IT and the Business to analyze, define and deliver the Technology and Operational processes. Members of the team are expected to take leadership roles in the various programs as well as to take personal accountability for delivering first class solutions and products.

Skills required
Leadership skills: The candidate should have experience working on multiple projects and teams with multiple milestone deliveries.
Problem solving skills: The candidate should have the ability to escalate complex risks early and assist in developing actionable mitigation plans.
Analytical skills: The candidate must be used to working in an analytical, collaborative team environment.
Communications skills: The candidate must be able to concisely explain issues with strong written and oral communications skills.
Client management and teamwork skills: The candidate should have experience working with stakeholders and colleagues at all experience levels.
Project management skills: The candidate must have experience creating practical project plans, managing project budgets and timelines. The candidate should have experience in partnering with all levels of management and stakeholders to gain consensus and approvals.
• Must possess college degree
• Experience in Change organization is required
• Experience in Operations organization is required
• Knowledge of Clearing, Settlements and Asset Services is desirable
• Experience working in a wealth management organization is desirable
