HCVT is seeking a talented Senior Campus Recruiter with the right combination of passion, experience, and leadership skills to lead our on-campus recruiting efforts for all 11 HCVT offices. The Senior Campus Recruiter will be the primary lead person for all campus recruiting planning, strategy, execution, and follow-up.
This position will be based in West Los Angeles, with the understanding that the person hired will be able to work out of other office locations as needed.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
• Partner with universities and campus recruiting teams to build strategic recruiting plans that enable HCVT to meet its entry-level and intern hiring needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with campus career professionals and key accounting faculty.
• Manage day-to-day recruiting activities and supervise, mentor, and develop recruiting team members.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand their unique hiring needs and goals.
• Plan, attend, and execute various recruiting events and establish follow-up process post-events.
• Plan and manage the internship and summer leadership programs.
• Conduct interviews to assess skills, competencies and experiences required for the proposed position.
• Conduct pre-qualifying phone screens to determine fit for the role/HCVT and to make recommendations to hiring managers/partners to determine next steps.
• Collaborate with hiring teams on offer decisions and take part in closing candidates with offers.
• Build a pipeline of talent by fostering relationships with high potential students for future opportunities.
• Establish best-in-class practices and innovative approaches to recruiting top talent to the firm.
• Take responsibility for the firm’s brand and image on college campuses and social media platforms.
• Partner with HR team with the on-boarding process for new hires.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum three years of recruiting experience required; campus recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience in professional services strongly preferred
• Strong business acumen and public accounting industry knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak to all levels of management and leadership
• Ability to travel to HCVT offices and college campuses (up to 75% travel during campus recruiting season)
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and various applicant tracking system preferred
• Proactive with a team-player attitude with proven people skills
• Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Detail oriented, with high productivity and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment; experience with multiple corresponding deadlines
• Ability to be creative and think outside the box
• Must be able to work overtime, especially during high recruiting seasons
