Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop Learning “Experiences”, engaging learning activities and practice simulations as close as possible to real life skills/scenarios.
• Identify and validate the learning objectives and content by working with subject matter experts. Ensure the content/structure is designed and developed to standards. Apply appropriate instructional design techniques based on the objectives or learning platform.
• Develop effective assessment questions, quality distracters and practice interactions that match the objectives and content of the training and that accurately test the learners' ability to meet the objectives.
• Write content into the authoring tool, using models to create the instructional document.
• Create media to support learning (e.g. visual aids for face-to-face, various multimedia for e-learning and online)
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions on new and updated classroom training courses.
• Produces high quality learning deliverables, on time under aggressive deadlines, for interactive training courseware, including the design of course content, interactions, graphics, and multimedia.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Technology, Adult Training, Communication or other equivalent curriculum that focuses on training required.
• Experience in instructional design within the learning industry, particularly in creating web-based training, participating in all phases of the project life cycle and demonstrating creative solutions for deliverables.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to convert information and needs into practical training deliverables. Proven superior technical writing skills, including the ability to write concise, creative and effective instruction, especially for WBL training.
• Excellent computer skills including competent operation of authoring software, such as Captivate and/or Presenter, descriptive information of the features, functions, advantages and limitations of the most popular authoring and graphic software in the industry, various network environments and the resulting instructional design implications. Basic HTML knowledge.
• Desire and motivation to learn new technology, especially to learn it independently.
• Possess a thorough understanding of current training and delivery methods and techniques, with an emphasis on training media and application, training methodologies, and adult education methodologies and techniques
• Advanced MS Office skills and proficiency is required
