The Solution Marketing Lead, Lending will have a deep understanding of current trends and challenges faced by banks in the areas of lending compliance, consumer and/or commercial lending. They will also have the proven ability to translate this understanding into compelling, competitively differentiated market facing messaging and content—ultimately, helping drive demand generation and pipeline growth, as well as thought leadership and brand for Finastra’s Americas lending solutions business.
To achieve this, the Solution Marketing Lead, Lending will work with key stakeholders within Finastra, including lending product management, solution enablement, pre-sales, sales teams and leadership. The position will also serve as the “voice of lending” within Finastra marketing, collaborating closely with field marketing, customer engagement and other departments to drive alignment and results.
Major Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute market focused go-to-market programs and campaigns for lending solutions that grow revenue and market share
• Develop effective targeting, messaging and positioning, and communicate that messaging and positioning to all internal and external audiences in the region
• Develop high quality thought leadership content in the area of lending, both with external analysts and consultants, and by sourcing original viewpoints from personal experience/knowledge and the extended Finastra lending subject matter expert pool
• Support field readiness through the development and delivery of sales tools, e.g. persona definitions, value proposition and messaging materials, sales pitch decks, and collateral of various kinds – brochures, infographics, informational videos and similar digital assets
• Collaborate with the Americas field marketing team to ensure alignment between solution marketing content and field promotion
• Collaborate with product management and sales to bring competitive solutions to market
• Support content creation for Finastra-led customer and prospect events, as well as industry events and trade shows
• Investigate and create thought leadership platforms (through speaking opportunities both internally and externally) for Finastra’s Lending SMEs
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 10 years experience in product marketing or related roles, ideally in a fintech, software or financial services capacity
• Experience and domain expertise in consumer and/or commercial lending and lending compliance for community markets/credit unions
• Direct experience in the world of banking, e.g. as a loan officer or in similar function, highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and writing skills
• Proven success in creating and executing content marketing plans that deliver results
• Sufficient financial and technical experience to understand customers’ business problems and translate them into compelling outbound messaging, positioning and content
