Description
Summary:
The Human Resource Representative performs a variety of human resources support duties. Primary responsibilities include maintaining employee records and files, assisting in the recruitment and hiring process, inputting and transferring payroll data, training employees in timekeeping and HR systems, performing new employee orientation and performing general office support functions.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, terminations and absenteeism.
• Inputs and transmits payroll data to corporate payroll department by established deadlines to ensure timely pay for all employees.
• Performs day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining employee HR files and processing paperwork.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
• Ensures that all new hires complete their benefits enrollment by required deadline.
• Processes new hire access requests and user deletion requests for the IT Service Center in compliance with bank timelines and requirements.
• Adds notary data on new notary employees in payroll system and then monitors it via monthly reports to track expirations.
• Advises employees with questions regarding payroll, benefits, timekeeping and time off requests.
• Completes monthly certifications on a timely basis.
• Keeps up-to-date on technical and regulatory requirements and applies new knowledge to job.
• Performs job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal and state rules and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC, and GLBA/privacy rules.

Requirements
Qualifications:
• Associates degree in human resources related degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related human resources experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Qualifications:
• Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and have the ability to learn new systems/applications.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Ability to communicate with auditors, vendors, and personnel at all levels.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously at fast paces, diverse, and growth-orientated environment.
COMPENSATION:Salary is negotiable depending upon relevant experience. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Must be capable of occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
