In this role, you will be in charge of a group of our stores within your assigned district, traveling from location to location, ensuring that each store remains profitable and that they continue to provide the world-class customer service for which we've come to be known. As a District Manager, you will provide your Store Managers with guidance and oversight to ensure that their stores consistently meet all financial, performance and staffing goals. This will require a strong combination of both operations and people management.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
• Delivering corporate financial results and achieving district plans through daily management of store teams
• Traveling between 4-8 stores in your district
• Providing leadership with clear and concise communication for a team of Store Managers and Sales Representatives
• Achieving company/store objectives and plan results (P&L management)
• Developing, training, and coaching Team Members to meet and exceed performance objectives
• Directly manages recruiting, staffing and retention for the district while projecting future needs through active succession planning
• Establishing and ensuring superior customer service levels within your district's stores
• Collaborating with your Regional Director and fellow District Managers to generate excitement and excellence at the field level
• Ensure high quality customer service seen through exemplary mystery shop results
• Drives, supports and communicates key business initiatives, such as Performance Management
• Responsible for the ensuring district's compliance in all regulatory processes and programs
• Manages the employee relations issues for the district
We are looking for a District Manager who has a strong track record of personnel and operations management in a multi-unit environment, as well as the ability to effectively lead and mentor Retail Managers. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment as well as strong time-management and prioritization skills. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build solid ongoing relationships with your store managers, customers, and the community.
Requirements for the District Manager role include:
• Associate Degree with 5 years of multi-site management experience in Pawn or retail environment. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Note: While a degree is preferred, EZPAWN recognizes that life/work experience speaks volumes to a candidate's capabilities
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Solid understanding of business reports and P&L reports
• Ability to identify areas for performance improvement
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Ability and willingness to relocate, strongly preferred
