Description
Assess credit issues at assigned charter banks. Working with the charter’s credit and lending staff, develop and implement action plans to maximize recovery of problem loans. Establish benchmarks and update management and credit committee as appropriate.
Manage certain credits directly in accordance with established action plans. Criteria for direct management typically involve a “hard” exit strategy or matters in litigation. Enforce bank’s legal rights and remedies working directly with outside counsel and receivers as necessary in litigation.
Provide guidance to charters on bank lead problem loans. Hold quarterly problem loan meetings for assigned charters with bank CCOs and other bank staff as deemed appropriate.
Identify potential non-performing loans, impairment, and loss at assigned charters and notify management timely.

Qualifications
Ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in commercial banking. Formal credit training preferred. Strong analytical, communication and writing acumen required. Prior commercial loan workout experience beneficial.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
Available for 10%-50% travel.
