• RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carries out the day-to-day operations of the Risk Control Services Department including the supervision and coaching of a portion of the risk control services staff to:
◦ Identify and measure risk of loss through analysis of losses, physical inspections, document review, audits, and consultation with other parties
◦ Design, administer, monitor, and provide ongoing support to clients self-insured risk control programs
◦ Formulate, analyze, and present reports for executive management upon request
◦ Present and explain material to various parties, including, but not limited to, Boards of Directors, members, brokers, outside pools, and other interested parties
◦ Develop loss prevention strategies, risk control programs, loss cost containment, absence management, and employee safety programs
◦ Coordinate with brokers, members, and outside sources
◦ Assist clients to develop policies and support organizational change required for a safe and legal working environment for internal as well as external clients
• Assist with the establishment of internal administrative policies and general guidelines for the Department
• Complete special projects at the request of the risk control director
Four-year degree in related field plus ARM or CSP designation
Seven to ten years experience in risk management or safety field
