Successful candidates will play an integral role in qualifying inbound leads and executing outbound marketing campaigns. This role works with marketing and sales to find new clients.
In this entry level position, you will develop valuable sales skills through practical training and interaction with prospective clients, building a solid foundation for your success in future sales roles at Experian.
Major Job Functions
• Research target accounts and identify the decision makers
• Reach out to decision makers by email or phone- cold calling
• Identify opportunities, generate interest and hand off to account executives.
• Learn the value proposition of Experian’s solutions, at a high-level, to identify client’s needs.
• Report on the success of campaigns and lead generation activities
Critical Success Factors:
• Drive- action oriented, goal oriented, tenacity and perseverance. Be comfortable with rejection.
• Effective communication – Ability to effectively communicate product benefits and competitive advantages to prospective clients. Ability to tailor message to client needs and pain points.
• Persuasion skills – Ability to overcome objections and influence prospective clients to attend an appointment and evaluate Experian product and services.
• Fast learner- Curiosity and ability to learn new information about solutions and sales processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing a plus, especially in B2B setting
• Experience with CRM systems a plus, specifically Salesforce.com
• Undergraduate degree- Marketing major a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills a plus
