SUMMARY
The Agency Services Specialist provides support and exceptional service for the Bank’s Syndication and Participation portfolio by performing system entry of payments, advances and account maintenance related to Participated Sold Loans, Syndicated Purchased loans and Syndicated Agented Loans. The incumbent will be responsible for verifying pro rata share percentages for each participant and prepare notifications to participated investors with transactions, LIBOR rollovers and financial statements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These are the most significant job duties performed. The size, scope and complexity of assigned duties and responsibilities are dependent on the level and experience of the incumbent. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each assigned essential duty satisfactorily. • Process complex transactions in addition to processing all levels and aspects of maintenance and transaction requests to both the Lead Note and to the Participation notes in AS400.
• Conduct documentation, research, analysis and possible recalculations prior to posting.
• Prepare notifications to Investors describing the transactions completed and identify the movement of funds required, including outgoing or incoming wire transactions.
• Reconcile general ledgers related to Participated Loans.
• Process current tickler events that may require transactions or maintenance to the appropriate loan; communicate with lenders, CBA or documentation team as appropriate.
• Review the approval and structure of Syndicated or Participated Commercial Loans as part of the boarding process.
• Should be proficient at interfacing with all levels of internal or external customers, to include Investors as needed, and has strong both written and verbal communication skills.
• Provide effective back-up for other processing positions.
• Understands and complies with all Bank policies and procedures, and federal and state laws and regulations pertinent to this position; stays informed and shares updates on changes with management. Required to successfully complete all required Compliance training.
• Continuously supports the Bank’s Mission Statement and Core Values.

Education and Work Experience
Minimum Required:
Associate's degree and required years of related experience for level; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a Bank Loan Operations environment preferred.
• Level II: four or more years related experience and/or training;
Certificates and Licenses
No certifications needed.

• Credit - Knowledge of one or more of the following: commercial and consumer credit regulations, policies, and procedures; and documentation;
• Customer Service - Highly professional demeanor with excellent telephone skills and etiquette. Utilizes various interpersonal styles and communication methods to positively assist and influence customers.
• Finance & Accounting - Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bank accounting and general ledgers.
• Loan Documentation – Ability to read and interpret commercial loan documents and a solid understanding of loan/ banking terms
