Position Description Overview

As a recognized leader in helping small and medium sized (SMB) businesses grow through state of the art solutions, First Data is seeking energetic, tech-savvy, results driven sales professionals for a Proactive Lead Generation position on our short cycle merchant services inside sales team. This position will provide you with the opportunity to connect and support the engine of America’s economy, the small business owner. Utilizing a solution-based, consultative approach to identify the client’s needs, you will offer prospective clients a full suite of First Data solutions including: point of sale products (Clover), loyalty and gift card solutions, Data Analytics , Security & Compliance , EMV compatibility, credit and debit services, and many other cloud-based business solution applications.
Job Responsibilities
• • Generate new merchant interest, via outbound B2B calls, from lead files received from First Data Financial Institutions and Strategic partners. • Build customer confidence in your ability to successfully solve their business needs with the right products and services in a prompt and professional manner. • Identify qualifying leads, according to departmental guidelines, and partner potential clients with the appropriate sales department. • Build rapport and gain the trust and respect of merchants. Listen, identify and qualify sales opportunities. • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in e-commerce, the payments industry and the overall business environment are integral to your sales success.
Job Requirements
• • High school degree or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant inside sales or client support experience preferred. • Demonstrate a high level of professional interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communications skills. • Proven ability to influence, persuade, and educate diverse groups of people at various levels of management. • Technologically savvy; Strong experience utilizing the internet, HTML, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of computer systems, communication tools, on-line chat, CRM tools, and varying file formats. • • Proven track record of commitment and dedication to achieving results. • Highly self-motivated, personable, aggressive, energetic, and creative. • Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and determine how we can help them achieve their goals
