Job Description
The Director of Strategic Accounts will play an integral role in the success of the Broker/Dealer Channel and broadly the firm by developing the business engagement strategy for the Broker/Dealer Strategic Partner firms and representing the priorities of those clients back to our organization. To that end the Director is expected to develop and maintain senior level relationships at client firms in order to deepen our enterprise level entanglement strategy. In addition, this individual will work closely with the National Sales Manager in order to inform field level activities and ensure focus areas will maximize results and the achievement of goals. The successful candidate will also have the responsibility to build internal relationships with key members of Distribution, Marketing, Investments, Product Development, Legal and Finance to ensure the voice of the client is represented across these key functions.
Responsibilities:
• Highly visible role as a member of the Broker/Dealer Distribution leadership team developing the broader Broker/Dealer channel strategy
• Motivate and lead a high performing Strategic Accounts Team; attract, recruit and retain competitive talent as required
• Relentlessly review the list of strategic relationships, refine client segmentation, and align resources accordingly
• Lead in the development of business plans, outlining short and long term strategic priorities, KPIs, and ensure incentives are aligned accordingly
• Represent the business priorities of our external Strategic Partners for internal corporate planning and business development within Distribution, Marketing, Investments, Product Development, Legal and Finance Set budgets and ensure effective P&L management through continuous monitoring of expenditures and related productivity
• Meet assigned targets for profitable organic growth rates and strategic objectives
• Negotiation of external partnership agreements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in related field preferred
• 15+ years Financial Services experience within asset management or wealth management
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience managing a team of client facing distribution professionals with an established track record of accomplishments and business results
• Proven track record of working as part of a team to deliver successful client outcomes
• The ability to represent the full suite of OFI products and capabilities and to position in a concise manner
• Extensive understanding of the financial services industry, with an intuitive appreciation of the rapidly changing landscape
• Creative problem solving skills with an ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects autonomously and in an organized fashion, balancing the long term and the urgent needs of the larger organization and our Strategic Partners
• Excellent judgement and decision making skills combined with strong principles of good corporate conduct
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both written and verbally
• NASD series 7, 63 securities licenses. Series 24 preferred or must be obtained within 60 days of starting
• The position is based in NY, NY at OFI’s corporate headquarters

• Completes strategic client plans that are aligned to firm’s objectives & goals
• Maintains high client satisfaction engagement
