Position reports to VP of Professional Liability/Cyber for Major Accounts. There is significant interaction with both internal employees and external clients and brokers.
Perform administrative duties with minimal supervision for the executive management.
Screen calls, responding to and dealing with queries, relaying accurate messages, handle calendar for underwriting team.
Schedule meetings and appointments. Handle all meeting logistics and preparation of meeting and conference materials.
Organizing meetings, coordinating room bookings & conference calls, including coordination of catering
Coordinate complex travel arrangements, on a frequent basis.
Maintain travel and vacation schedules for all underwriting team.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely expense reports in Concur. Take initiative to become a power user in internal systems such as Ariba (procurement) and Concur.
Manage all other administrative activities/ad hoc administrative and project dutities, as required (records management & retention, mail distribution, reporting, special projects, administrative support to local team lead underwriters, etc)
Produce weekly and monthly monitoring reports for the underwriting team around policy issuance, raters iSuite files, etc.

Must be professional with internal and external clients, and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Will have the ability to learn new skills quickly and use own initiative
Must be a highly-organized, proactive individual with first rate skills
A high level of attention to detail is a must
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
A focus on producing accurate, high quality work is essential
Must have the ability to respond to conflicting demands which may be on an urgent and ad-hoc basis, and prioritize workload appropriately
Confidentiality and integrity is paramount
Must be able to take a flexible approach to completing work tasks
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
