Job Description
Accountable for various responsibilities that will focus on supporting the Credit, Compliance, QC and Enterprise Risk Management teams with operational and risk-based reports and analytics. As part of the company’s centralized risk reporting and analysis group, assigned deliverables will involve a mixture of credit risk analysis; operational reporting; strategic planning; building and administration of management presentations.
Job Responsibilities
• Write queries to pull data, perform analysis and produce reporting on regular and ad-hoc basis
• Ensure reporting routines are executed accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in the development and maintenance of various materials to be presented to business unit leadership
• Collaborate with business unit colleagues to create detailed process-based specifications for Application Development projects
• Understand, interpret, and present recommendations for action based on a data-driven analysis
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
Preferred Qualifications
Skills & Abilities:
• Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server preferred
• Highly proficient in Excel; experience with macros
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with basic statistical concepts
• Broad understanding of technology’s strategic role and impact
• Technology, Finance or Economics background preferred
• Familiarity with mortgage banking, and mortgage related regulatory requirements helpful
• Demonstrated competence in a variety of financial and analytical concepts, practices, and procedures
• Demonstrated use of sound judgment in planning and setting goals
• Understanding of complex or diverse information; conceptualize solutions to problems articulated by management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with most levels of management
• Display willingness and ability to independently develop solutions to problems and work with minimal to moderate supervision
• Demonstrated ability to advance several assignments concurrently and within established deadlines
• Competent at working in partnership with team members to deliver expected results
• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently, with realistic action plans
