Cantor Fitzgerald: Campus Recruiter
Cantor Fitzgerald is looking for a dynamic Campus Recruiter who will be responsible for undergraduate and summer internship recruitment and programs. The individual will work collaboratively to set the strategy to support the intern and entry-level hiring program in order to meet talent needs across all front office areas of the business. During the recruitment season, you be responsible for building, managing, and developing high performing school teams, core and noncore school relationships while delivering against hiring targets. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders at a senior level to ensure alignment between the business and recruiting. This role also manages and coordinates recruitment activities, on-campus events, summer internship programs and diversity events. This position reports to the Head of Recruitment.
Responsibilities
• Builds relationships and partners with the human resources business partners and recruiting captains to determine hiring needs, devise and execute effective recruiting strategies – full-time and summer programs
• Develops and cultivates relationships with various educational institutions; maintain relationships with students, faculty and staff
• Acts as the primary contact for campus candidates and manages the full life cycle recruitment process– from on-campus interviews, “Super day” interviews (coordinating candidate and interviewer schedules, arranging candidate travel, etc.), through to new hire on-boarding
• Screens and evaluates resumes; sources and screens candidates in support of the business strategy
• Manages and drives applicant interview selection process by working closely with key decision makers; manages offer approval process, communicating candidate offers and turn-downs
• Executes on-campus and off-campus events including event marketing and coordination
• Manages and leads summer intern programs
• Tracks and analyzes hiring data to ensure university hiring goals are met
• Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation regarding candidates, interview schedules and other recruiting activities
• Flexibility to travel during peak seasons
Experience
• Minimum of 2-4 years Campus Recruiting experience
• Previous experience in a major financial services firm is preferred; work in other professional services environment or work in higher education/career services is also applicable
• Working Knowledge of Taleo; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) & Internet skills
• Strong business acumen and motivation to stay abreast of emerging market and talent trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with junior level talent
