To provide technical risk control, risk management, and safety assistance to our clients in the public and private sector on both a task basis and at a program level.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops Safety Policies and Procedures for client
• Consults with clients on specific safety/loss control issues
• Prepares and conducts safety and loss prevention training courses
• Conducts on site risk assessment inspections

• Reports to Director of Risk Control

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• BS / BA or Equivalent Work Experience
EXPERIENCE:
• 5 to 8 years
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to plan and conduct on-site risk assessments
• Ability to analyze results of risk assessments and/or loss data and develop effective recommendations to address identified risks and control losses.
• Ability to develop training curriculum and conduct effective training to employees and clients
KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of advanced loss control principles related to work-related injuries as well as property and 3rd party exposures
• Knowledge of loss control methods, tools and techniques particularly with respect to employee safety in a public entity or construction-related industry
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and their application to employers in California
