We are looking for an experienced digital marketer with a proven track record of building, managing and maintaining a diverse portfolio of digital assets including global corporate web sites and other digital properties. As a member of the U.S. Bank/Elavon Digital Marketing team, this individual will use a combination of user experience, content management, and CMS/web development expertise to deliver exceptional digital experiences that support a variety of business goals including new customer acquisition and customer retention.
This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to manage web sites and author content in an enterprise level CMS, so a strong background with CMS authoring, HTML/CSS and Javascript is a must. As part of a measurement-oriented organization, you will need to understand the value of marketing analytics and be able to collect and analyze data from multiple sources to drive marketing decisions.
This is an extremely collaborative working environment, so the ability to form strong relationships with internal partners is critical. You will work with a variety of business partners to gather requirements and provide strategic insight/direction on how to best achieve shared business goals via digital marketing programs and tactics.
The successful candidate with work with a cross-functional team of UX, design, and development partners to manage existing templates and CMS components, and develop new templates/components as needed. This individual will also play a pivotal role in significant content migration and web site redesign projects.
Job Responsibilities:
• Meet with internal business partners from across the organization to understand their marketing/business goals, and develop digital marketing strategies and plans to help them be successful.
• Build web sites, landing pages, microsites and other digital assets in our content management system (Adobe Experience Manager).
• Integrate digital experiences with paid search campaigns and CRM systems including Salesforce to help track and manage new business leads from “first click” to completed sale.
• Manage existing digital properties by updating existing pages/content and adding new content to keep sites refreshed and relevant.
• Use analytics platforms to tag, track and evaluate performance and optimize our digital properties to improve the customer experience and achieve business goals.
• Work with a team of UX/designers and development partners to define new pages, templates and components that need to be created in the CMS to improve our digital experiences.
• Create project plans and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work with your peers and business partners to prioritize work efforts based on strategic value and ROI.
• Use your experience and industry expertise to evangelize digital opportunities like SEO, paid search, personalization, and other tactics with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising or related field
• Five to eight years of experience in advertising or marketing industry
• Three or more years of management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
• 5-7 years’ experience with content authoring and managing web sites in the Adobe Experience Manager CMS (or equivalent enterprise-level CMS like Sitecore, Oracle Webcenter, OpenText TeamSite, IBM Web Content Manager).
• Proficiency with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) – tagging, creating ad-hoc and automated reports, analyzing data to optimize performance.
• Strong project management and communications skills and ability to manage multiple projects ranging from large site builds to urgent content updates.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud for marketing automation and integration between Salesforce and AEM web forms.
• Must be proficient with HTML, Javascript, and CSS. Solid understanding of HTML5 a plus.
• Basic Photoshop editing skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively in a matrix organizational structure.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
