Project Manager
Job Summary
Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end project management. Develop, implement, and manage all projects throughout the project life cycle including requirements definition, design, development, testing and pilot phases. Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as the LOB for delivering assigned work. Leads the technology teams, analysts, testing, and all key stakeholders to drive the assigned outcomes of the workstream to completion. Assists with technology estimates, manages highly complex technology solutions to a full-scale deployment. Manages timelines and communicates project status. Uses the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations. Actively ensure compliance with the Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training.
Responsibilities
• This person is responsible for end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and is the primary point of escalation for technology issues. Drives overall technology execution regardless of which technology team is doing the work. Also supports Line of Business stakeholder relationships and acts as their advocate throughout the life of the project. Key partners are the Line of Business, Technology Application Managers and teams, Testing Partners, Domain Architects and other Project Managers.
• Guides projects through all phases, ensuring processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated
• Develops and manages to project plan
• Identifies, assigns, tracks, escalates, and resolves issues
• Holds resources accountable for deliverables on time and budget
• Schedules and facilitates regular meetings to review progress and status, and ad hoc topical meetings; formulates agendas and documents minutes, action items. etc.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of bank technology experience and five years of project management experience.
• Independently and successfully managed at least three complex projects, from start to end (i.e. covering all Life Cycle Phases) with a duration of at least 1 year
• 4 year Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
• Completion of PMP or other PM certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of deposit, digital banking process and systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to transform complex concepts into simple and easy to understand presentations and influence decisions to achieve desired results across varied complex stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills and ability to target messaging to different audiences
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Advanced Excel
