Support Treasury operations by monitoring bank account activity, tracking and analyzing cash flow and ensuring monetary resource availability to meet organizational objectives.
• Funding
-Managing cash concentration structures and ensuring all accounts are properly funded
-Coordinating with Corporate, Business and Investments groups on cash transfers to/from accounts
-Oversee the initiation and release of Treasury payments
-Liaising with counterparties on revolver usage for liquidity needs
-Managing operational cash to established liquidity target balances. -
• Forecasting
• Forecast reporting and variance analysis through coordination with the various business units, departments and banks to provide timely and accurate forecasts, actuals and variances.
-Optimization of cash activities and yield on short term cash available for investment
-Cash flow analysis and tagging
• Payment Execution
-The processing and settlement of Treasury initiated payments ensuring accuracy, timeless and efficiency of Payment processing
-Monitoring payment processing on an exception management basis to ensure all treasury payments are successfully delivered acknowledged and executed.
-Maintenance of required audit documentation for Treasury initiated payments including support for inquiries/supply proof of payment for Treasury executed payments
• Trade and Debt administration, including the processing, tracking, confirmation and settlement of short term investments, FX trades and intercompany loans
• Build relationships with internal partners proactively seeking information and transferring knowledge to ensure achievement of treasury requirements and alert key stakeholders of treasury issues to facilitate effective resolution
• Delivering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with Treasury goals.
• Facilitate risk management by participating in the implementation and monitoring of internal and external audits and tracking and reporting fraudulent activity to ensure organization aligns with regulatory standards and limits exposure
• Support Treasury business strategies by building relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and utilizing financial acumen and knowledge of market competition and best practices to drive the adoption of innovative tools and effective product development for the achievement of profitability objectives
