Opportunity Overview
The Product division is responsible for all product strategy, development and ongoing product management for the firm. We provide clients and branch teams with a broad supply of quality products that reflect client needs, stem from our advice and guidance, and deliver on our value proposition of being the number one choice for serious long-term investors.
Director, Product Strategy, will play a key role in the business growth by leading numerous strategic engagements in close partnership with business sponsors from the Product group. This strategic leader will evaluate opportunities, inject external prospective on competitive environment and innovation, develop facts-based analysis, and work across the organization to gain buy-in for ideas that will meaningfully impact our clients, advisors and the firm.
This role provides a unique opportunity to join Edward Jones, make a significant impact, learn the firm at a strategic level, and be very well positioned to transition into a leadership position in the business upon establishing a successful track record.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years consulting experience in Financial Services practice at a top-tier strategy consulting/management consulting firm, or an internal consulting group of a Financial Services organization.
• A proven record of delivering/managing successful strategic consulting engagements
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial services industry, with a track record of promotion.
• Series 7 and Series 63/66 must be attained within six months of hire.
• Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills.
