Job Description
Currently, we are seeking a talented Sr. New Business Training Analyst to join the Life Insurance Division in Aliso Viejo. The Life Insurance Division works with financial and insurance professionals to give families and businesses the life insurance coverage needed to help meet important financial protection, wealth accumulation, and wealth preservation goals.
Job Summary:
The Sr. New Business Training Analyst is responsible for training New Business associates on all aspects of processing and systems usage. Maintains and further develops deep knowledge of industry requirements and new business processes and effectively shares that knowledge with others. Leverages knowledge of Life Division business areas to collaborate and work towards business solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Training:
◦ Provide one-on-one and department training specific to all New Business content including Pre & Post Risk, Accounting, Multilife, etc. This includes onboarding for new associates.
◦ Research and develop instructional training content.
◦ Develop training strategy and approach. Present training plan to management.
◦ Design and implement training evaluation strategies to measure learning outcomes and business impacts. Analyze and distribute data appropriately.
◦ Provide feedback to trainee and supervisors during and at the completion of training.
• Process & Procedures:
◦ Review and ensure procedures are accurate, current and compliant based on regulatory requirements. Identify procedure updates as necessary.
◦ Identify and make recommendations for process improvements.
◦ Make Sharepoint updates as needed.
◦ May be called upon to act as a subject matter expert on projects or initiatives.
◦ Participate in change management initiatives.
◦ Initiate process change review, analysis, and coordination
◦ Support New Business production as needed
Factors for Success:
• Minimum of 3 years’ training experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with business writing, preferably procedure writing &/or training documentation
• Experience in a processing-related work environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Prior experience developing and conducting virtual and remote learning activities
• Knowledge of various learning styles and corresponding training approaches
• Ability to translate high level business goals into training action plans
• Able to build and maintain strong business relationships
