FM Global is looking for a HR International Manager to act as a business partner to staff and line management by providing comprehensive value added human resources consultantion services. This professional will provide a comprehensive range of HR tools and solutions that suport business objectives in South America. Coaches executives and managers in recruitment, employee relations, development, deployment and retention of talented employees in order to give FM Global a competitive advantage.
Responsibilities - External
This professional will:
1. Participate as a member of the management team in planning and implementing a full range of human resources services. This includes organizational planning, selection and placement, employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, benefits administration, training and education and process improvements.
2. Formulate, analyze and interprets HR policies, practices and programs that maximize the potential of all employees while addressing legal and cultural requirements.
3. Proactively counsel managers on the appropriate handling of complex employee relations issues thereby minimzing financial risk to the company. Investigate and advise both management and employees on individual issues, directing the actions to be taken. Manages the relationship with the employee representative organizations in countries where such organizations exist.
4. Keep current on new Human Resources trends and determine the applicability of same within the organization
5. Recruit, train, motivate and manage and develop an effective HR team.
6. Manage an effective payroll and benefit administration service, which conforms to all statutory and accounting requirements.
7. Effectively manage all HR and payroll aspects of international transfers into and out of the region
Qualifications - External
• Bachelor's degree and professional HR qualifications
• 8+ years of HR experience and 2+years of managerial experience
• Fluent in English and at least an Advanced level in Spanish
