Description
• Manages and develops third party Payer/Insurance relationships.
• Performs system, service and operational gap analysis.
• Gathers required technical information as required.
• Works with vendors and other third-party insurance companies, as required, to complete setup for remittances and payments assuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Researches, identifies and corrects issues with regards to third party setups.
• Works with internal departments to obtain required information from customers and completes assigned cases timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some years of healthcare payment and claim processing or healthcare industry, business process, or other directly related experience.
• Basic knowledge of financial or healthcare products, procedures and processes.
• Must have good customer service, problem solving, organizational, project management and database skills.
• Working knowledge and ability to use word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work with clients, technical and operational staff.
