Zions Bancorporation has just opened an opportunity for a Consumer & Small Business Credit Risk Assistant Manager on our Zions Credit Risk team located in downtown Salt Lake City, UT.
Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and remediating credit risks in the Consumer and Small Business portfolios through the creation of timely and accurate reporting and by partnering with the Consumer and Small Business Credit Administrators to develop strategies for addressing risks
• Produce analyses that result in policy and strategy improvements that maximize profits and asset growth, while minimizing credit and other risks
• Manage the MIS and credit data resources for Consumer and Small Business Manage a staff of junior analysts and prepare employee performance evaluations.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What you need to bring to the table:
• Advanced knowledge of credit and credit risk analytics
• Advanced knowledge of SAS Experience working with large data sets queried from relational databases and centralized datamarts
• Strong management skills, with an ability to work independently and lead a team to execute on department, division, and Bancorp goals
• An ability to set and maintain high quality work standards
• An ability to deal effectively with people at all levels across the organization Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• A college degree in Finance, Business or other related field; a masters degree is preferred
• 4+ years’ experience in lending, credit, credit analysis or other directly related experience.
• A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
