Position Description
The Digital/Marketing Compliance Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and support of the Compliance programs for the Digital Channels and Marketing functions. In addition, this role will support the Digital and Marketing Compliance Senior Director on critical projects
Job Responsibilities
• Use judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge in participating in LoB projects to ensure compliance issues are determined and rated, assisting the LoB with mitigation strategies.
• Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding policy application and interpretation.
• Partner with Legal Department in assessing and quantifying regulatory risks and in explaining/communicating these risks to the LoB.
• Work collaboratively with Legal Department and the LoB to determine workable/sustainable solutions for new product introductions, product enhancements and self-identified compliance issues.
• Work with LoB to determine appropriate monitoring and reporting routines.
• Assembles and/or reviews documentation for regulatory examinations.
• Participate in the development and updating of Compliance project plans, with responsibility for timely completion of assigned projects.
• Review marketing materials and provide constructive feedback to the Marketing Department.
Qualifications
• Educational level: Minimum -- Bachelor's degree in Business or related major.
• A minimum of 5 years of financial industry or regulatory compliance experience with an understanding of federal consumer banking laws and regulations and best practices.
• Internal control, operations and/or audit background.
• Well-developed analytical and problem -- solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple duties and work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively on project teams.
• Proficiency in MS applications: (Microsoft Office).
