JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to manage and support the achievement of short and long- term diverse and complex strategic goals and objectives of the Real Estate Services group and the Line of Business occupants. The accountability encompasses a geographical area of about 3 million square feet in an urban center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Client and CBRE team members (Transactions, Project and Facility Management) to develop real estate strategies and supporting tactics for eventual implementation. The strategic plans should respond to Client objectives: the efficient use of space, cost savings or cost avoidance, Line of Business consolidation, lease expiration opportunities and overall Market influencers.
Conduct interviews with Business Units and other Client leaders to identify future business direction related to growth, labor market changes and other issues that could impact real estate requirements. Provide insight relative to market optimization focused opportunities.
Refine market strategy to the building level. Lead the team to develop the tactics and identify preliminary scope of work, cost estimate and schedule. Work with Finance to identify financial impacts. Develop documents/graphics to delineate tactic and communicate to Leadership and all impacted parties.
Implement and maintain Market Plans defining portfolio management priorities for market and buildings and of the activities for specific Real Estate engagement
Maintain data bases forecasting building square footage changes, head-counts, end state utilization and preliminary cost estimates.
Prepare and present deliverables in oral, written, and visual formats relative to client strategy and other topics as required.

May provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Masters degree or MBA desirable. 5+ years corporate real estate experience with emphasis on Strategic Planning, Occupancy Planning, and Transaction Management
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles. Ability to negotiate effectively with key team members and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires understanding of financial terms and principles.
ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Ability to sort through a lot data, synthesize and cull out meaningful insights. Ability to conceptualize or solve for complex and uncomplicated problems by making recommendations that are sensible given the information available.
COMPUTER SKILLS
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
