Pricing Analyst
I. JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Pricing Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day lock requests submitted through Encompass/Program Finder.
II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This is a 9am - 6pm Shift - please make sure those hours work best for your situation
• Performs lock requests as needed on best efforts pipeline.
• Maintains all lock request changes, reconciliations and extension requests.
• Monitors rate lock information for data integrity and expiration dates; communicates discrepancies to the Loan Officer or Branch Manager.
• Prepares daily and weekly lock reports, as needed.
• Downloads daily investor rate sheets for pricing comparisons and rate sheets.
• Provides expertise and serves as a resource to all branch offices including managers and loan officers regarding common practices for lock-in policies and procedures in the mortgage banking industry.
• Serves as a backup for the Price Desk, as needed.
• Handle special projects or other duties as may be required from time to time.
• Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the mortgage banking industry or other financial industry; previous experience in capital marketing area, preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets. Ability to learn additional programs as required.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel.
• Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability.
• Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.
• Must be able to work overtime, as required.
