Job Description
Our Global Operations organization includes, among others, Client Reporting which is a part of the Reporting Solutions team. The Client Reporting team supports our institutional, high net worth and retail channels and is responsible for producing weekly, monthly and quarterly product and client account related materials. Our team is also responsible for facilitating automation and data standardization for the Business.
The Client Reporting Assistant Vice President position is a key role, working among distribution client services, legal and investment teams and is accountable for supporting OFI by managing the delivery of excellent reporting, and assisting peers in reviewing and production of their reports. In this position, you will be primarily responsible for the oversight and timely production of a high volume of reports. You will also help to facilitate automation of various data, and complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data validation for institutional quality reports.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
• You will dynamically lead a team of client reporting managers and associates. Your leadership will include:
◦ Month and quarter end deliverables, as well as project related work and automation
◦ Coaching and mentorship in relation to career and other growth and development needs across the team
◦ Identification of primary focus areas for each team member based on their interests and available projects
• You will support the strategic direction of the Client Reporting team by:
◦ Working closely with technology partners on key efforts (e.g., Product Reporting Platform (Varden) )
◦ Play a key liaison role in critical growth areas across OFI (e.g., International, ETFs, SNW)
◦ Ongoing input on process and tool enhancements to support improvements to the Client Reporting team’s future direction
• Working with all levels of team members across the organization you will help coordinate data feeds for various internal and external databases. Doing so will ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across client reporting systems
• Help in the quality control review of data and content across reports the team produces and for those created by colleagues
• Your insight and best practices related to institutional and composite level reporting will be invaluable
• Working closely with our key stakeholder groups (i.e. Product Management, Distribution Client Services (DCS), Legal) as it pertains to managing collateral development, expectations and enhancements in order to provide the best client reporting experience, you will elevate the Client Reporting Team
Qualifications
• 6 + years institutional marketing, report production or operations experience with a deep Fundamental understanding of client reporting
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure, and handle a high volume of work during short periods of time (e.g., quarter end), and strong organizational/process management skills with a keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize work, strong project management skills, and analytical ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills at all organization levels. Proven ability to successfully liaise with Technology department and Product Management teams, developing effective working relationships
• Fundamental understanding of various asset classes including equity, fixed income, multi assets and alternatives
• Demonstrates proactive ownership of deliverables, and a genuine desire to contribute to the positive success of the team. Ability to work effectively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team
• 25% travel to NY
Preferred Qualifications
• Financial Services industry background
• Proficiency in software applications such as Varden and Accent
