The Role
This position will provide leadership and direction to ensure group results for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. Lead the organizations continuous improvement efforts and work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to set business process standards and govern those standards on a continuous basis.
Responsibilities
• Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
• Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity, and reduced cost
• Develops and maintains a business process management and governance framework that acts as a foundational enabler for current state operational processes, as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility
• Directs the development, implementation and communication in effectively improving his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
• Identifies and anticipates potential future threats and proactively diffuse before conflicts arise
• Identifies customer needs and demonstrates responsiveness in meeting the customer needs.
• Maintains quality communications between various business unit leaders in regards to issue resolution and escalating appeals as necessary
• Provide subject matter expertise to business unit leaders in regards to cost benefit analysis, streamlining workflow, system requirements and budget management.
• Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data
Education & Experience
• 7+ Years of experience in continuous improvement that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 3 + years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience (Required)
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
