Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for expanding UMB's commercial card client base through new client acquisition and deeper penetration into existing clients needing card programs.
-Will be actively engaged in the card sales business development efforts building on new targets and market verticals within the card business segment.
-Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
-5 years proven card sales experience
Preferred Requirements
-Credit underwriting experience
-Financial analysis experience
-Bachelor's degree
Minimum Knowledge and Skills
-Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
-Knowledge of strategic sales cycle selling to large, complex customers
-Demonstrates ability to prospect and network at various levels within a company
-Knowledge of Territory Management
-Knowledge of credit and operational risk
-Knowledge of policies & procedures for implementation
-Demonstrates proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Knowledge of Commercial Payments & Cards
-Knowledge of online commercial card technology (Visa IntelliLink, VPA)
-Knowledge of card based applications
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
-Strategic sales planning skills to define target markets, strategic sales approaches, and provide solutions
-Enhance communication and negotiation skills for more complex deals and relationships
-Manages time effectively to balance new & existing relationships to meet goals
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
