Job Description Summary
Design and produce marketing material and advertising collateral including product and campaign rollout materials, product and service brochures, direct marketing pieces, sales incentive support programs, and other related materials.
Responsibilities
• Plans, schedules and implements moderately complex marketing communications graphic design projects.
• Designs and creates graphics for print, web and multimedia.
• Lead in the development of a marketing strategy and campaigns.
• Works with marketing project manager to determine the "look and feel" of the piece desired. Responsible for creating the basic concept and layout of the piece. Plans and designs a comprehensive mock-up for clients’ review and approval. Reviews design projects with client.
• Creates accurate files for production (electronic or hardcopy publication); make edits / changes as required, obtain necessary approvals, submit files in a timely manner, track production with outside publications / vendors, and report on status.
• Oversees the graphic execution of each piece - from art production through printing process.
• Maintains creative control over all artwork, photography, copywriting and printing to ensure the proper aesthetic outcome and to manage all project expenses. Determines printing/production specifications. Determines most cost-effective print/production solutions.
• Stays current on design and graphic trends and techniques and share knowledge with other designers and graphic artists. Stays up-to-date with technologies including new versions of existing software programs.
• Responsible for applying established corporate branding specifications to ensure work meets corporate guidelines.
• Follows brand standard concepts, practices, and procedures to accomplish creative campaign results in all areas by scheduled individual and group deadlines.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design (or an arts related discipline) or equivalent education/experience. Minimum of 2 years experience.
• Experience working with commercial graphics vendors.
• Knowledge of commercial graphics production processes, techniques, standards and ethics.
• Strong creative abilities as indicated by a portfolio of effectively designed material, both electronic and printed.
• Well versed with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Proficient in Power Point and Microsoft Word.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to lead in the development of a marketing strategy and campaigns.
• Proven ability to create designs from concept to completion (portfolio).
• Experience working in a corporate environment.

• Ability to manage vendor activities and pricing (commercial illustrators, photographers, copywriters and printers.
