POSITION SUMMARY:
Support Insights Delivery leadership in shaping marketing, business and operational strategy through the use of data analytics, modeling, campaign design, campaign analysis, primary research, competitive market understanding. Scope includes a range of retail financial products and services, such as bank (checking, savings, home loans), IRA, brokerage, advice, life insurance sold through various distribution and sales channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Drive Retail Financial Services growth through customer and prospect acquisition by outlining targeting strategy, defining strategic learning agenda and delivering marketing insights.
• Improve understanding of the customer behaviors/needs and resonating value propositions
• Identify business growth/retention opportunities
• Evaluate marketing performance and innovative marketing opportunities
• Uncover emerging trends to address opportunities and/or threats
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of business experience in business/product analysis, other analytics, marketing, and/or consulting.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAS, SQL, SPSS, R
• Significant experience using Excel and PowerPoint software (Data Visualization tools such as Tableau a plus).
Desired Qualifications:
• Masters in Economics, Statistics, or Math
• Excellent innovation, interpersonal, and communication skills required. Ability to develop and deliver presentations that synthesize complex solutions/insights for non-technical audiences a must.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational and project management skills.
• Significant experience using Excel and PowerPoint software (Tableau a plus).
• Strategic Initiative Support: Ability to guide analytic efforts to shape marketing, business and operations strategy development and support on-going analysis and measurement.
• Insights: Undertake specialized analyses, and aid in developing methods for syndication of intelligence and insights across the company to drive action across the range of strategy, marketing, sales, and operational activities.
• Ad hoc analysis: Work closely with marketing and business partners to investigate/identify opportunities for growing the business. Requires an ability to understand the business strategy/objectives, perform quantitative analysis, and create business insights.
• Voice of Customer/Market Perspective: Partner with Research and Competitive Intelligence Centers of Excellence to improve understanding of customer and competitor situation, and apply understanding to strategic recommendations. Familiarity with primary and secondary research techniques required.
• Consulting: Ability to converse with and influence key external and internal constituents including decision-makers, business partners, co-workers with whom no-direct reporting relationship exist, and members of the Senior Leadership Team.
