Ditech Financial Services, LLC is seeking a dynamic and passionate Direct Mail Marketing Director to oversee our DM marketing campaign strategy and execution. S/he will provide visionary leadership to fuel creative, dynamic and market sensitive operations and deliver rapid growth in supporter-based revenue from offline channels. At the heart of this operation will be a test, learn and optimize culture, driven by data based decision making. S/he will ensure that all campaign execution is deeply rooted in strong planning and is target driven: with a close daily, weekly and monthly tracking of spend, results, and impact.
S/he will ensure that messaging is appropriately targeted based on population/segmentation and is consistent across all communications and channels. S/he will provide strategy and leadership to drive development of targeted database marketing programs by analyzing information and assisting in the design strategies and tactics to optimize results. S/he will partner with their counterparts across Marketing Services (such as digital, social, and email) as well as marketing analytics to launch integrated campaigns and utilize reporting to measure and monitor program performance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
• Manages a team of internal and external resources to provide strategy and oversight for Direct Mail campaign execution
• Provides leadership and subject matter expertise to set campaign performance benchmarks, target audience selection, creative performance expectations and agency direction
• Required to have hands on experience with all facets of the direct mail process. Mail process, multi- variant mail campaigns and testing, knowledge of printing process, vendor management and negotiation
• Design and implement complex, multi-wave, multi-channel, triggered communications using proprietary segmentation techniques, modeling and scoring
• Develop and execute multi-channel contact strategies across customer segments touch point channels, with the goal of increasing response and conversion rates and driving revenue
• Provide and be knowledgeable in "best practices" in campaign development to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables
• From data analyses, develop, test and measure campaign strategies that will drive desired customer behavior and results
• Deep understanding of list, offer, creative package responsiveness, content relevancy and communications channel engagement (DM, EM, Phone, Web and Social).
• Develops campaign strategies with internal stakeholders for continued program improvement throughout campaign lifecycle
• Facilitate campaign financial analysis for planned and executed direct mail projects such as cost to communicate and campaign ROI, program forecasting, measurement and assessment
• In collaboration with other marketing colleagues oversees campaign creation, production, and distribution of all print, electronic and internet communications related to Direct Mail products and services
Required Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree with progressively responsible professional experience directly related to the position.
10+ years experience in a Direct Marketing role
Financial Services experience strongly preferred
