Job TitleProduct Analyst, Sr
This position is based in our beautiful Alpharetta, Georgia campus.
What does a great Product Analyst, Sr do?
You will be responsible for defining the detailed product requirements and writing the user stories used by the development team to create product features and functionality for Frontier Reconciliation from Fiserv, an account reconciliation solution. Over time, you will become the expert in understanding how the product works. You will be responsible for sharing your knowledge with internal and external audiences and work closely with a cross functional team.
As a Product Analyst, Sr, you can look forward to:
• Having responsibility for creating product requirements/user stories, acceptance testing criteria and design requirements. Actively participate with product managers and product development teams.
• Serving as an Agile Product Owner, engaging with technical teams to ensure User Stories and product requirements are understood and that the software developed is validated and meets the business requirements
• Taking the lead role in managing product backlog, sprint planning sessions and bi-weekly Core Product Team meetings.
• Contributing new product ideas, approaches and insights; creating innovative products and designs.
• Focusing on customer needs and satisfaction; setting high standards for quality and quantity; monitoring and maintaining quality and productivity.
• Completing documentation which may include various release documentation. Reviewing and providing input to documentation created by other team members. Ensuring documents are technically accurate, timely, and client orientated.
• Keeping up to date with competitor information, tools, best practices and market trends; identifying business opportunities for the organization.
• Supporting sales activities, which could include conducting product demos and contributing to RFI, RFP, and Proof of Concept projects.
• Taking an active role in leading webinars and customer facing training events to explain and promote product features and new functionality; act as product subject matter expert.
• Meeting with both internal stakeholders and external clients to understand market and customer needs to ensure product stays relevant and best in class; participating in product strategy sessions to define roadmap and prioritize development efforts

Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Bachelors degree required (Business, Accounting or Computer Science preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst or Product Management experience with technology products
• Experience in an Agile development environment
• Experience working with offshore development and QA teams
• Proven track record of building effective, collaborative relationships in a highly matrixed organization
• Proven results at individual and team levels; ambitious, with strong ability to follow-through on own commitments while also holding others accountable
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical abilities
• Ability to think through end to end use cases, covering all exceptions and possible scenarios
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Agile Product Owner experience strongly preferred
• Reconciliation and Financial close process experience (including account reconciliation/certification, balance sheet attestation, period end reporting)
• Experience managing software as a service (SaaS) products
• Knowledge of the Pragmatic Product Marketing framework
