Description
Position Goals:
To assist the Human Resources (HR) Department with a range of projects related to Talent Acquisition (TA).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Gain hands-on experience and practical application within the Talent Acquisition function of a corporate HR department, including hands-on use of the UltiPro applicant tracking system.
2. Learn how to carry out the steps involved in the recruiting and hiring processes, including but not limited: posting job openings, reviewing applicants, conducting telephone interviews, conducting background checks, and extending job offers.
3. Recognize the importance of employment law and compliance as it relates to employment eligibility, confidentiality, proper maintenance of employee files, and forms management.
4. Discern the interrelationship of TA and other functional areas of Human Resources (i.e. Payroll, Benefits, Talent Development and other generalist activities).
5. Gain exposure to new hire orientation, employee paperwork, personnel files, payroll and benefits administration and report generation.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
Education - Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or other related field of study.
